That surprises me. I always thought of 100 lppm as the sound wall of 35mm
photographic film technology.

I doubt very much if any lens will give that sort of resolution in real
world conditions. Photographing resolution charts are useless for
determining how high a lens will resolve in picture taking situations
that don't involve resolution charts.

The best film specification I could find in a brief perusal over at the
Fuji website was Provia 100, which resolves 30 lppm
