I think we said the same thing when the MZ-S was released.  :-(  But then 
again, perhaps they still have too many lens stocks due to low demand over 
the years, they won't do USM/IS until the current inventory started to dry 
up.

We don't know yet if this lens mount really is "crap". It might have 
support for IS and USM. It's too early to tell. *If* it has support for USM 
and IS, then I doubt that Pentax is going to tell anyone before they have 
released IS and USM lenses. Simply because if they tell it before the 
lenses exist, this might hurt sales on the existing lenses.

As so often with Pentax, we just have to wait and see what happens.
