Two hours, David? The fastest trains take 58 minutes for the 55 mile journey, and there are a great many services (at least one per hour) that take just 1 hour 5 minutes. Even the "stopping trains" take only 1 hour 20 minutes. Timetables at: http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/ John W
