I'm beginning to suspect you write just to be able to say NIKON! every chance
you get.
<<Lots of Pro in France, using Nikon do not wish a IS.>>
BS! Everyone who can ~afford~ IS has it. NIKON! people are not ~normal~ if
they don't. We do know the few lenses NIKON has with "image stabilization"
cost more than most people in France make in a year, which is why they can't
even dream of owning an "IS" system.
<< I do believe that IS or VR is usefull but we can survive without !!!>>
"Survive?" Yes.
<<Mostly, I find it usefull wit great aperture lens (such as f/:2.8) >>
You've never used IS or you'd know they come into their own with slow film
and [f/8] and smaller apertures. It is the task of IS/VR and the like systems
to allow more handheld shooting opportunities or where camera shake might
enter into a shot.
