Mark Cassino bought one of Nathan's like new LXen and had to send it to
Pentax twice. (I do like Nathan's. He sold me a new in box 165/4 LS for
$375. But there's no telling with an LX. CLA is a must.) I did see a
very nice LX with a 50/1.2 and motor winder at another Detroit store.
I'll go take a look and see if it's still there.

Actually, my LX just got back from it's third repair session in Colorado. This time the MLU and self timer mechanism jammed. While it was there, I had the meter re-wired so that depressing the finder release button activates the meter.

repairs so far:

First trip - the ISO dial would not lock in place at some settings. I asked them to check TTL metering (seemed to be off, not sure.) White it was there I had a full CLA done.

Second Trip (Part 1): Hot shoe went dead, the metering system was obvcously not working properly because the camera could not do long exposures beyond a couple of minutes. (I think that was a problem from the start, and was missed during the first repair trip.)

Second trip (Part 2): Camera came back with an active hot shoe, but flash dedication and TTL did not work, so the camera was bounced back to Pentax repair.

Third Trip: Repair the MLU and add the second button meter activation.

Right now - my LX works fine. (Fingers crossed).
