Okay, I just ordered the FA 24 f2.0 from Adorama. Thanks to everyone for your advice.
My gadget bag is full. Adding this lens will probably mean that my FA 50 f1.7 has to come out. I spent November in France with six lenses. The 50 was the only one that didn't get used. I could have used the 24. BTW, I had been ordering mainly from B&H. Last summer they took eight days to send me an order, then said that it had been shipped when it hadn't. I felt that warranted a complaint. Henry Posner of B&H wrote back and actually claimed that their delay was my fault. I'll stll buy from B&H, but to punish them (to the minimum extent that I can) my last two lens orders (total $900) went to Adorama. Joe
