Sounds like the beginning of another argument about rules and standards that I really don't want to get in to. I use whatever feels right, and not what some half-arsed rule says should be right (i.e. that a 50mm is the 'standard' lens - which is convention more than anything).

Images taken with the FA* 24mm have an almost 3D 'look' to them Joe, which I have never seen with any other 24mm. I have only had mine for a little while, but I love it already. It is my new standard lens on my LX.
