I've always liked the fact that PUG is not competitive. None of the
PUG entries were sent with a mind to competition, and many of the
people who sent them are no longer (active) participants in the list,
so you cannot assume their permission for entry into a competition.
Although I've only submitted 2 photos, and am therefore not a very
active pugger, I would not want either of them to be considered for a
competition.
Oh, and on a point of pedantry, it could not be considered 'best of',
only 'most popular'. Not necessarily the same thing.
