Hi Jean-Baptiste,
Welcome and congratulations to your choice of Pentax!

That's one of the biggest advanteges of the Pentax system: you can use
every Pentax lens on all Pentax bodies (afair there are only three
bodies with restrictions: MZ-30, MZ-50 and MZ-60).

Very good choice. I'm owning an MZ-5n which differs only in some mior
things. I like their classic user interface. But you should also
consider a MZ-S if it is not too expensive. It has a better viewfinder,
faster AF and is made of metal (plus many more advantages).

You will get spot and center-weigthed measuring with manual SMC ans SCM-
M lenses. With manual SMC-A and autofocus SCM-F ans SMC-FA lenses you
will get spot, center plus multi-segment metering.

Hi Jean-Baptiste,

I agree with Heiko. I'd also like to add that if you prefer metal barreled lenses, you might want to consider Pentax's Limited series--FA 31/1.8, FA 43/1.9, and the FA 77/1.8--all of which have some very devoted fans on the list.

As far as zooms go, the FA 24-90 seems to be very popular, and the FA* 80-200/2.8 is reputed to be spectacular.

Currently, Pentax does not offer a teleconverter that will allow autofocus.
