Hi Jean-Baptiste, on 07 Dec 02 you wrote in pentax.list:

Very good choice. I'm owning an MZ-5n which differs only in some mior things. I like their classic user interface. But you should also consider a MZ-S if it is not too expensive. It has a better viewfinder, faster AF and is made of metal (plus many more advantages). >I mostly shoot B&W and Diapositives (ouch is that the english word for >it : inversible films ? sorry i am french) so i need the spot mesure >but will i get it ( and center-weighted) if i use non AF lenses ? You will get spot and center-weigthed measuring with manual SMC ans SCM- M lenses. With manual SMC-A and autofocus SCM-F ans SMC-FA lenses you will get spot, center plus multi-segment metering. >I am used to 100% viewfinders (like the Nikon F and RTS-III), most >Pentax cameras get a 92% isn't that an issue (e.g. for diapositives)? I don't shoot slides, so I can't tell you much about this. You should try a MZ-body in order to see if the viewfinder satisfies you. ... >And finally Metz flashes are quite cheap here in France compared to >Pentax : any idea of what i will get/loose if i get a Metz flash ( AF >assistance for example) ? I've still some lenses and a large Metz for sale. Look at www.mycroft.de/sale.html and mail me off-list for further information. Shipping from Germany to France is no problem. Regards, Heiko
