Nope. They *do* heavily discount their "pro" bodies to some 
publications-media organizations, discounting the big lenses as much as 80%, 
the agencies paying the difference. Individuals can buy "used" Pro" bodies 
for as little as 20 cents on the dollar.
*One lens almost *never* discounted, whether new or old? The EOS 200mm f/1.8 
tele.
