Hi,

Sorry for being a bit late.

This document covers function we need to specify as the deployed PCE

scenarios get more complex.

I think the document is ready for publication. Just a few nits.

Best,

Adrian

I think "The document" is RFC 8231, but it is a while since that was

What does it mean if a PCC sets the INTER-PCE-CAPABILITY flag?

Can a receiving PCE tell that it is not really a PCE talking to it?

It's not really important, given 3.2, why do we need a new flag? That

is, if the two PCEs both act as stateful PCCs to each other, and also

act as stateful PCEs to each other, isn't that enough?

At the time of posting the -06 version of this document, there are no

known implementations of this mechanism. It is believed that some

vendors are considering implementations, but these plans are too

vague to make any further assertions.

We have moved along a bit (12 months and 5 revisions). Any updates on

this?

Subject: [Pce] WGLC for draft-ietf-pce-state-sync-11

Hi WG,

This email marks the start of a 3-week working group last call for
draft-ietf-pce-state-sync-11, taking into account the Chinese New Year holiday
during this period.

https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-ietf-pce-state-sync/

Please indicate your support or concern for this draft. If you are opposed to
the progression of the draft to RFC, please articulate your concern. If you
support it, please indicate that you have read the latest version and it is
ready for publication in your opinion. As always, review comments and nits are
most welcome.

The WG LC will end on Friday 14th Feb 2025.

A general reminder to the WG to be more vocal during the last-call/adoption.

Thanks,
Dhruv & Julien
