Hello list: I have a DVD of a show that I was involved in (just got it yesterday) I know the DVD is good, for I can play it in my stand-alone Sylvania DVD Player! However my computer absolutely refuses to play this DVD! When I place the DVD into the DVD/CD drive, VLC comes up.but does nothing! When I go to computer; then go to the D drive, I am presented with a dialog, informing me that Windows cannot access the specified file, path or device; it goes on to tell me that I may not have the appropriate permissions (or some such nonsense) to play this file! It's my DVD (I bought it) I.along with the band.play in it! Why is it that my computer won't play it? What is it I need to do? Help much appreciated!
