No Sideband handling whatever, the CC SW is not a communications receiver, its an AM/FM/SW radio. the SW coverage is from 1710KHZ-30MHZ in 3 10MHZ bands. The radio does not have a keypad for direct entry of frequency's however there are some controls which allow you to step through the bands, you can for example tune with the tuning knob or up/down buttons, the knob can use slow or fast tuning. You can also step through the bands in 1MHZ steps so if you're on 10MHZ you can skip to 11MHZ and so on. The bands wrap around so suppose you get to 20MHZ and press the up button or turn the tuning knob clockwise you'll hear 2 beeps and the radio will start at 10MHZ again. Actually Short Wave - despite the absence of a keypad for direct frequency entry - is a real plus on this radio and amongst the hottest I've seen on a cheap radio such as this across the whole Short Wave spectrum. The radio can be used outside the U.S. thanks to the 9/10KHZ step switch located in the battery compartment. > On 2 Jan 2016, at 3:05 AM, Dave Marthouse <dmartho...@gmail.com> wrote: > > Dane, > > Does this new radio handle single sideband?
