Of course, this article is a very general article describing voice recognition on all current Samsung tablets.

I believe I already mentioned this so don’t want to sound as though as I’m repeating myself.

I guess I’m lucky with my current provider, they gave me two weeks to try out the Samsung Note4 and I could then return it no questions asked, they even provided me with a pre-paid plastic envelope in which to returned the packed phone, can’t be fairer than that in my view and two weeks was more than plenty of time for me to discover what I needed to know, don’t tell me that phone providers in the United Kingdom are as mean and lousy as all that, not providing you with a trial period, its almost as bad as the statement made by your other half informing me that Denon couldn’t be purchased in the U.K.

Unfortunately, since the Note4 and the new Note5 are both mobile phones, Access To Work will not pay for those devices. The only devices which would qualify in any way are tablets, not phones. So those devices are out of the question. I’ve seen the Note4 available on a contract for just £9.99 and then £35.00 a month for 24 months. To buy it outright you’re looking at between £849.00 and £595.00 depending on the spec of the device.

Since Lynne and I are currently in a bit of difficulty because of a drastic mistake made by the Inland Revenue, (that’s the UK tax office’s official name), we could definitely not purchase anything like that at the moment. The Inland Revenue is aware of their mistake but they tell us that we may have to wait until next April before we get our money back.

it is ironic that if the same mistake was made by us and we owed them money, they would demand it up front and immediately. Failure to pay it would result in charges of £50.00 per day in interest on top of what we owed. They owe us just over £16000.00 on our last tax bill and that money makes our disposable income almost nil for the next few months even if when I start work. I start my new job, incidentally, on 7 July. We’ve applied for quite a lot of equipment, at the top of the list are the Braille Sense U2 and the Index Everest V4 embosser.

The nice thing about the Index is that it has an in-built translator. Since you can now plug the device into a Mac and have it work as just another printer, that obviously opens up a lot of avenues for me. Since it will also handle magazines format, it will make it very easy to Braille user manuals and things and have them bound properly as books.

Anyway I’m waffling. I’m looking forward to receiving the Braille Sense, assuming that Access To Work agree to my application.
