Unfair to call it crap because it didn't give you the results you wanted. Could be your disks.

Well it ripped it alright, but the titles are all wrong; the metadata is all wrong; AI suspect this here program is crap! But to be fair, I suppose it's as you say "it's going by number of minutes and whatever and trying to find a match! Thus far, I have found nothing that indicates that I can change the place it gets it's information from! I'm still astounded that information about this set is not on the internet, for it's been on the market for quite sometime! I'll reiterate: I )did not_ get this from E-Bay or any place like that! Last time I did it used Freeds.com You might check to see what music data base it is using and see if you can change it. From earlier posts, it sounds as if your particular disks may just not be out on the net yet and you'll need to manually tag the files. As I understand the process these programs/data bases go through, is they analyze the number of tracks on a disk, the length of each track in order and the total length of the disk and try to match that information with disks in their data bases. If no one's put that info up on their data base, it will try to find something close as a suggestion. -----Original Message----- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Tom Kaufman Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2014 3:07 PM To: 'PC Audio Discussion List' Subject: RE: Guess I Need More Info About Express Burn Yes...that's what I meant (Express rip) takes it's information from...now what is it...Brain Food (or something like that? wherever it's getting it's information from (as far as this CD is concerned) it's "waay out in left field! Express Burn is a cd creation program. I'm not sure from where it would be taking the info you're seeing. -----Original Message----- From: Pc-audio [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Tom Kaufman Sent: Thursday, June 26, 2014 2:33 PM To: Pc-audio@pc-audio.org Subject: Guess I Need More Info About Express Burn Hello again list: Okay.so I went and downloaded this "Express Burn".decided to go ahead and try the CD I've been trying to rip. Aw but it acts like it's a whole different CD than what I'm attempting to rip! It's putting names and titles that have aabsolutely _nothing_ to do with this particular CD! So what in the world is going on here? I didn't let it completely rip, but now it'd be something if (had aI let if finish) it gave me the actual songs it was titling, for I can assure yyou that the titles and ar5tists it's coming up with have _nothing_ to do with this here CD! So it looks like I need to get some more information about this CD ripping program.like how to tell it which server I want it to check and such; and hot to tell it the bit rate I want (am finding nothing like that as far as I've been able to tell!
