Ah, I see where you're coming from. Well an audiophile has never - to my knowledge at any rate - said there wasn't or isn't a choice, the only point most make is that Surround-Sound gear is not really the type of stuff for the lovers of good music and as I said earlier, the consumer can buy something that sounds very good in stereo for the price of a cheap surround-sound system so I take the point and the choice is yours.
