In which case either 2 things will happen depending on how the user has set things up.
Either the CD player will play through left and right channels - stereo - or it will be played using a simulated surround-sound mode using the Digital Signal Processor of the surround sound unit, in other words if your system is going to be used for music then a Surround sound system is most likely not your style.
