Interesting. It's able to play DAT files ha? Epic! I have a few of those.
I'm so disappointed to hear that. Here I was imagining a super epic PTR3 if
you will, that had a Blu-Ray writer, that could actually write Blu-Ray
disks, at dfull 96 KHZ 24 Bit PCM either in DAISY 3 or just the WAV files.
Lol. Oh yeah, you could either use CF cards like always, or SD cards. What's
more, it does all the cool stuff. Even stuff as simple as high lighting
stuff and speaking the page numbers autonomously like the Victor can. Now
isn't that one hell of an epic recorder? I would even licence Sound-Devices
guts for it. Lol. Now that's mad epic. Even the whole Phantum power thing
would make it epic. Like mom says, one doesn't pay to dreem. Lol. But I'm
serious though. This would be just so damb epic! What say you? I can't
weight for the podcast.

Thanks hammit, You rite, and it always take time to find out those spex. And
my experience often with these companies is that they mostly don't deliver
up to that standards. PlexTalk openly said they won't higher their bit rate
or sampling rate of any of the recorders currently. So why would hims be
different since they really did not go far enough with the booksense. The
PlexTalk range record the best of them all, and even with them its not as
nice as you would get with Olympus or zoom. I will do a podcast on the hv-e5
and will post a link here once it rich the blind geek zone. I got one up
there already about the dm620. Its a player made in china with a nice design
and support most formats in one device like nun of the other players. You
can even play .dat video files. I don't think its available in the US yet,
or at least I don't no.
