Hi Barry,
Thanks a lot. Will try that.
Can you also tell me the difference between m3u and pls? It can't just be
the the name, can it?
Take care,
Alexandra

Hi Alexandra,
An M3U file is just a text file which you can create in Notepad or other
text editor. All the file needs to contain is the URL to a
stream. For example, to create an M3U file for 2UE Sydney:
1. Launch Notepad.
2. Type or paste the following line
mms://streaming.mytalk.com.au/2ue
3. Save the file as
2UE Sydney.m3u
An M3U file can contain other descriptive information about the link, but
it is not essential.

Subject: Creating a playlist for a stream link - Re: question for Dane
Hi,
I have some links for streams that I would like to stream with my Plextalk
Pocket, PTP1. As far as I'm aware, to play internet links, you have to
have
them in m3u or other play list formats. Is there a way to create that play
list manually like with editor and just name it playlist.m3u and how would
I
do that?
Thanks,
Alexandra

Hi Ray,
Are you pressing ctrl+l in Winamp and not just l? I am in Australia, so
can't say for sure that they
aren't geo blocked, but I don't think so.

Hi Ray,
I don't know if Dane replied privately, but direct URLs to 2GB to paste
directly into a media
player, with different bit rates are as follows:
http://streaming.mrn.com.au:8000
mms://202.58.32.111/MMN_2GB

At one time I had a stand alone audio feed for 2gb that I could pull up
in
winamp. Might you have
that feed or where might I find it on the webpage?
