Hi Alexandra,

An M3U file is just a text file which you can create in Notepad or other text
editor. All the file needs to contain is the URL to a
stream. For example, to create an M3U file for 2UE Sydney:

1. Launch Notepad.

2. Type or paste the following line
mms://streaming.mytalk.com.au/2ue

3. Save the file as
2UE Sydney.m3u

An M3U file can contain other descriptive information about the link, but it is
not essential.

Subject: Creating a playlist for a stream link - Re: question for Dane

Hi,

I have some links for streams that I would like to stream with my Plextalk
Pocket, PTP1. As far as I'm aware, to play internet links, you have to have
them in m3u or other play list formats. Is there a way to create that play
list manually like with editor and just name it playlist.m3u and how would I
do that?

Thanks,
Alexandra
