You could run a patch cord from the line-out of the radio to the line-in of a portable digital recorder such as the Zoom H1 for example. The remote control facility is very comprehensive giving the user the choice of 3 timers which can turn not only the radio on and off at preset times but can also turn a connected recorder on and off at those same times as the radio, I believe the CCrane make a matching recording unit for this functionality of the radio. Whilst a person with no vision would have no problems whatever in using the line-out facility there would be problems setting up the 3 timers as they require reference to the display for setting of the on/off times, source, duration and so on.
