I Can't Figured This Out

Hello again list:  I get  my Windows sounds back, then whenever I open Total 
recorder, I lose them and can't figure out what I did to get them back!  So 
please!  Someone tell me: what's the _surefire_ way to get these Windows sounds 
back if I lose them I(I still don't understand why Total Recorder is now 
causing me to lose my Windows sounds (it didn't ever do it before!
