I don't know why I bother sometimes <smile>, I explained the different models
of Squeezebox in my review, the "Boom" was the type I demonstrated, looks like
a boombox.

The "Duet" is a hi-fi tuner model with a colour screen remote control.

The "Touch" is a system using a touch screen with SD card slot and USB socket.

As far as I know they're the only 3 model of Squeezebox system available but
none! are selling for $500.00, the Duet" may come close and perhaps that's the
model you're thinking of.

Whatever model you select you can control them in at least 2 of the 3 ways I
described, the "Touch" obviously can't be easily controlled from its own
control panel but you can control it from the your Squeezebox account or from
an external app say for an IOS or Android device, from the Squeezebox Server
application etc.
