Audacity from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ is a free and open source
music editing and recording package. It's an alternative to GoldWave or
SoundForge.

Well, there was Audacity for Windows, but I'm not sure you could edit
anything with that.

Are you looking for something to compose music or just to edit
music? If you want to edit music you could use Goldwave -
www.goldwave.ca, or SoundForge from Sony Media. There are Jaws
scripts that make Goldwave work very well and they are free. There
are Jaws scripts for SoundForge, but there is a one time charge for
them.
There is also a free sound editor for windows, but I can't remember
the name of it right now.

way to create music is to buy a mac!

Hi All:
I was wondeering if anyone knows of a music-editing software
application that is accessible with JAWS? I use JAWS 10 and 12 on
a Windows Vista platform. I am trying to gather music for working
out and I would like to have different playlists in which the music
is mixed together. I have used a program called Mixmeister, but it
is not very accessible, especially not without a braille display.
Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions.
