I already have the *.wmv files and can play them in winamp. My
question, software, to convert the files to the format which will
play on DVDS to be watched on a TV, for example.

M3u or PLS file. they stream movies to your computer. you have to
open the WMV file with an editor like notepad, find the download
link inside the file, and download the movie where ever it is from
and convert it to a DVD or something.
