As Frank mentioned in an earlier post, the BARDTalk web site at http://www.bardtalk.com/index.php is a good source of information and should probably be your first jumping point for almost everything.
The BARD Talk Mailing List is also a source of good information, although when I was on it, you got a lot of chaff with the wheat as well. to join this list, send a blank email to the following email address: bardtalk-subscr...@yahoogroups.com Information on this list is also covered on the BARDTalk web site. Finally, you'll get some information from your local library and there's some information on the NLS web site. -- Christopher chalt...@gmail.com -----Original Message----- From: pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org [mailto:pc-audio-boun...@pc-audio.org] On Behalf Of Tom Kaufman Sent: Friday, April 02, 2010 3:53 PM To: PC Audio Discussion List Subject: Re: Revisiting nls digital player Hi Christopher and list: Just curious as I've just gotten my "standard" version of the NLS player (probably not the best place to bring this up at length)..but how does one come by information such as what you gave about..pressing the "sleep button" ten times tells you which version of the machine you have? Forgive me for veering off-topic just a little..but I am following this thread with interest as I'm anticipating learning as much as I can about my new NLS digital player!
