Have you checked your files for trailing silence at the end of the track?

Hello all list members,
Just as the tidal says, I wish to do tight cross fading in Winamp.
But here is the funny thing.
With one play list that I have, Winamp fades them real tight.
But all the other play list that I have, this doesn't happen.
Could someone please tell me what I'm doing wrong?
