Isn't sonar mostly used for midi music? Or is the audio part just as
detailed and accessible?
I was told that unless you use a lot of midi it's really not worth the
price. Maybe I was given bad advice?
What do yall think?

Sornar 8 is extremely suitable for your needs. I must admit I haven't
used
all of it's features yet. But have used some affects, recored many many
programs and local artists using the multi-tracks from sornar 4 up to
sornar
8. I can't afford to get sornar five right now.
I also like the import and exporting, features.

I use sornar 8 for doing the multi-track. However, I have a friend
who is working on learning adobe audition multi-track using
window-eyes 71. I will let you know.

Most of it is blind friendly . However, the multi-trick feature I
find challenging. I am going to try some scrips I just got for adobe
audition.
