Oh the pocket is great as a recorder, but from what I've seen, it's not much to write home about as a player. I would go with the BookSense. Navigation is a lot more intuitive than the stream, and you can record in both mp3 and wave format. I personally also love the fact that I can play files which I download from iTunes.
