Hi. There is a radio button with in the program in which you select after
downloading. The option is to convert and then you select your file. Once
that is done then select the format you want to convert to from the drop
down box. When ready select ok and then confirm quality of vidwo. High,
medium and low are the options. This option doesn't seem to be accessible
when using Jaws or System Access so I hit ok to continue anyway. I have
noticed that with the 2.5 version of the youtube downloader it converts the
files seporately for example the sound and audio file are seporate to each
other. Now I just play the flash files without converting and my phone does
that without any problems.

Hi you can download a copy of the Youtube downloader which downloads the
videos and then you have the option to convert to Mp4 or 3GP. You can
also select WMA as an output file.

Here is how to download a video from YouTube with Free Download
Manager:
I went to the following URL:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rx6Eo6liyCg
Hit h for headers until you get to "related videos"
Arrow down to the first link.
With the cursor on the link hit the right mouse button, numpad *.
Arrow up until you hear "Download Video with Free Download manager".
Hit enter.
A dialog to create flash video download will then appear
You will hear the URL
Tab once and check the checkbox to automatically convert the downloaded
video to the specified format if you want to download it as something
besides a .flv file. If you want an .flv file leave the checkbox
unchecked
and tab to the OK button and hit enter.
Tab once to the customize button. Enter to set up the first time if you
want
all downloads converted to the same thing evry time.
There will be a list view for whatever format you want. mp3 is at the
bottom
of the list.
Tab and it asks to change the size of the video. Since we are doing mp3
it
doesn't matter where this is set.
Tab and select the quality.
Tab and there wil be a checkbox to check if what you have done is to be
the
default.
Tab to OK and hit enter
You will then be back to the original dialog
Tab to OK and hit enter.
The download will then start. A window will pop up showing the info
about
the download.
I don't know if this link actually lets you download. Some videos may
not be
downloaded. It gave me the title of the piece but didn't do anything.
It is
still listed on the FDM program. But these are the steps to download
the
videos that you can download.
