Might I reccomend either freeyoutubetoipod or freeyoutube video downloader
from dvd video soft. Freeyoutube video downloader allows one to save
youtube videos in .avi as well as mp4 and a couple other video formats. I
save mine to .avi.
Freeyoutubetoipod allows one to convert to mp3 and other Ipod compatible
formats.
