Hi, Not sure of the brand of the card I got as it was a birthday present, but I did get the formatting done, copied about 8.5 gigs of music over and am now experimenting with playback, file organization and such. It may not be the best sound in the world, but it's quite nice to have all your mp3 tag info read and portability is nice too. This is a 16-gig card and the formatting took several hours, but it's certainly working now. Brad Trainham

I'm hoping the next firmware release will address this issue. Formatting of the card did not take long at all. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Bradford Trainham" <bradford.train...@sbcglobal.net> To: "'PC Audio Discussion List'" <pc-audio@pc-audio.org> Sent: Wednesday, January 07, 2009 12:38 AM Subject: High capacity SD cards with Victor Reader Stream Hi, First, what's the highest capacity card the machine supports... And second, is it normal for the formatting process to take a really long time on say, a 16-gig SD card?
