Hi all I have an idea that perhaps the two units aim at slightly different segments of the market perhaps? Talthough the xtreme is perhaps better at polaying music for example, the ptr seems to be much more geared towards making good quality recordings. So it will perhaps depend on what you would like your unit to do?
