While in winamp
from the main screen control tab to the playlist editor
control ----- Original Message ----- o to open a playlist
It should look in the last place you saved a playlist.
If you only wish to add a single file
press l
tab to look in and then find the folder you wish to get the music
then tab three time to list view
select the song you want either with shift down arrow or hold down the control 
key and then arrow down to the song you want. While keeping the control key 
held down press the space bar to select. Continiue this until you've selected 
the songs you want then press enter.

Okay, this is very silly, but the way I added files to my original playlist 
was to go through Windows explorer, click on the context menu when I found a 
file I liked, and clicked on enqueue in winamp.  When I was done I just went 
to that playlist and pressed control plus s to save it.  So, I guess I need 
to back up a little.  How do you add files to a playlist while you're in 
winamp?  Do you have to go through that horrid library?  hahahaha!
