Hi Dan, I don't know of a free sound editor, but as far as getting your podcasts in to an mp3 format, I use a program called razorlame which is free and I can email you that off list. You'll need a place to put the finished files after you've recorded them maybe your school district has space on their server? Also getting the feed in to juice, you can creat a feed really easily for free at: http://www.thepodzone.com good luck.
