If other floppies work, then the disc is probably bad.  If others do not work, 
try a new drive.  You could also try another computer with a floppy drive.  The 
last alternative would be a disc editor, but I've not myself seen one that's 
usable.

  Does anyone out there know of a program that will open up a floppy disc that 
may be corrupted? I know that there is files on this particular disc, but when 
I try to loaded I get the message that the disc is not formatted. Never had 
this problem before. I did install the new winamp the other day. That was the 
only change that has been made to this computer of late.
