Hi There,

Sorry for this one,  I know this is  off topic for the list.  but when I've 
had this problem here's what works for me.  run the check disc utility on 
the damaged floppy and have it fix system errors. This repairs the disc 
without reformatting it.

Bob, sometimes, if you keep re-trying to read the disk you might be
able to see the files.  Or, if you have access to another pc, that pc
might be able to read the disk.
