Hi, first john, thanks for answering me, but it wasn't the mute. for anthony. i now have everything working, though i did need some sighted help. i have everything working, except the logica headset i use for skype. i found it in sounds and audio, but couldn't work how to turn it down. at present, it is blasting my eardrums. i am still playing. brian.
