Hi list, i have a problem. last night, when i closed down my computer, it didn't play its usual song. this morning, when i booted up, it didn't play its usual song, and when i asked eudora for my e.mail, i got the e.mails, but eudora didn't announced that it had finished with its song. also, when i loaded skype, it usual gives a whooshing noise, but today it didn't. i then found, that foobar, wma, would load audio files, would give me details of them, such lenhth and things such as 22050, but wouldn't play. obviously some setting has gone adrift. i can't find where the playback controls are, or whatever it is i need. my synthesiser is working alright. if anyone can help, i would be grateful. brian.
