Norma is right! LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! What it really boils down to 
is where you are geographically. In the far northern part of Canada the 
antenna has to be facing south in order to get the best reception. 
Apparently the satellite configuration for XM and Sirius are quite 
different. You just have to experiment a little when it comes to antenna 
placement.
