The display window on the Sony has a lot of information packed into it while the display window on the Marantz has easy to read information for those of us with functional vision. The button configuration appears to be well laid out with a ring similar to the Ipod with volume up, volume down and enter in the middle. The Marantz sells for about 300 dollars American, while the Sony comes in at a wapping 500 dollars. I think that the Sony unit has a few bells and whistles such as apitch control and the likes.
