Hello, I posted this initially on Blind Tech but got no response. So, I'm posting here in hopes of obtaining the requested info.
I would very much like to hear from persons on this list who have purchased a stand-alone DVD recorder. While I know of course that none of these have talking menues, I would like to know just how easy it is to set up a program to record. Regardless of your experiences, make and model of recorder would be very helpful. I guess that what I really want to know is just how much menue memorization is necessary in order to set up the time, channel and any other parameters to record analog tv signals. Yes, I am aware that over-the-air analog programming will cease in mid February of 2009. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
