Hi Steve, Thank you for taking the time to write this. I've got it running right now, playing randomly, hearing an occasional Christmas song, but sounds good. I've been able to find the history window and see what has played. It seems that when you press escape the search window opens. I type in a search string, but I'm unable to find the list of songs that comes up, if indeed it does! A friend is visiting this evening and so I'll have an opportunity to get the layout explained to me. I was tempted to try and reclass some of the controls, but I don't know where to start.
Where does one learn about the scripting language? I suppose that it designs your playlists, adding id's, jingles, etc. I worked for the phone company for 18 years as a programmer slash analyst, so I've got lots of computer programming under my belt and should be able to handle the scripting language if its not too complex. So far, I'm quite impressed. I have been using ots jukebox for my dejaying chores, but not all of my mp3's get converted to the ots format, or get omx files created for them. It seems like sam just imports all of the mp3's!
