Lisa, it doesn't always do well to spend big on a microfone for skype
any microfone that's capable of being plugged into your pc that you can
get from k-mart, big W or the like will suffice.
I got a $40 plastic fantastic I bought from the then grace brother's and
it still works to this day.

hi lisa, it just depends on what you need to do with it. if it is for
skype the one that i use is pretty good, it is a logitech noise
cancelling one.
you should be looking for a one about £15 or $30 this will give you a
good quality.

if you want i will add you to my skype contacts as well.
