Lisa, it doesn't always do well to spend big on a microfone for skype any microfone that's capable of being plugged into your pc that you can get from k-mart, big W or the like will suffice. I got a $40 plastic fantastic I bought from the then grace brother's and it still works to this day. Hth Shaun
