I've been a happy user of MP3 Directcut on my HP Pavillon a510n desktop. Over the weekend, I tried placing that same program on our Gateway NX7118 notebook, but cannot get the program to record on that notebook. The lame_enc.dll file sits in the same directory as the program (c:\program files\mp3cut) and the checkbox to use the program is checked under settings.
