Hi I guess my thought process goes something like this. I want to rip a cd. Now with iTunes on my system I could do that, and afterwords, import all the songs into the iTunes library. but in order to even read what each song is in the library, I would have to go through many many steps to get that done, and hope JAWS reads the list of songs as expected. But why the hell would I want to do all that when I can use a more accessible and much easier program such as CDEX or Easy CD DA Extractor? Not only can I determine where the files go, I can very easily determine the bitrate and sampling rate of the outputted files, determine where they go on my hard drive, and even how the files are named. With iTunes, at least on the Windows side I find it very restrictive, even after you follow all the steps in the original e-mail. Remember, this is purely a personal preference thing, I'm certainly not atempting to put Mac users or any other choices of programs down. Just telling ya how *I* like to do it, how everyone else does it is their own thing.
