Since my MP3 player does not support the WMA file format, I've taken to
downloading books in a WMA format, playing the file through Winamp,
re-recording the file using Total Recorder then converting the file to an
MP3 format.

Those familiar with Total Recorder are aware that in silent recording mode,
Total Recorder will record at many times the speed of the original
recording. I can not, however, find a way to have Winamp silently play a
sound file into Total Recorder faster than 2.6 times it's original speed.
Would anyone care to theorize whether it is a limitation of the output
plug-in or the DSP plug-in?

Thanks much,
Tony B. Swartz
