Hi. Can someone help. I am very new to sound editing, only a few days in fact. I have a problem with the status bar. Once I have opened a sound file and place marker points in that file and want to read the time information I only get partial information. I get all the information up to the point when it says stereo but no time information regarding the marker points. It is insert & numpad 3 I press isn't it? this is what I do but as I said, don't get the information I need. In addition when I am moving the Marker points (shift or ctrl/shift plus left or right arrows, Jaws does not read the time segments but only says select but when playing back the selected portion. the relevant marker point has been moved. I would be very grateful for some help here, keystroke by keystroke and off list if you prefer. Walter.
